The LINX120 Drinking Water System utilizes a proprietary ion-exchange membrane to remove harmful substances such as potassium and lead and 90 percent of total dissolved solids. The Dial-A-Taste control allows users to regulate the levels of dissolved minerals in the water and adjust the water’s taste. A high mineral content is typically desired for drinking water, while low mineral contents are considered best for cooking or coffee makers.
The unit’s ion-exchange membrane is powered by electricity, purifying and softening water without chemicals. It delivers water on demand and does not require water storage, so it takes up less space under the sink in point-of-use applications.
