Garth Wood House has been constructed with a mixture of larch, hazel screens and wood mizered from the client’s own forest.
The house has been designed with the living quarters upstairs and a large covered surrounding balcony, to maximise the site’s outstanding 1,000ft views. The interior is constructed around a framework of a large, wide, open tread staircase and double height floor to ceiling shelving to incorporate the client’s extensive collection of 10,000 books.
