A local fireplace store has quantified and qualified the American Dream House for 2018.
Northshore Fireplace in Evanston, Ill. commissioned Chicago-based Digital Third Coast to survey 2,000 people via the Amazon Mechanical Turk platform from all parts of the country across different ages groups regarding their views on home ownership and what their ideal dream home would both look like and cost given a list of both multiple choice questions and written-in answers. The main qualifying questions for surveyed respondents was that they either owned a home currently or were looking to purchase a new home within the next 5 years.
