Wine Trend Inc. does more than just install custom wine rooms. Beyond providing designs, materials, and technical support during construction, the company offers services to educate homeowners. Charts can advise customers on which cheeses go with which wines and what wines to buy. Face-to-face wine tutorials also are available.
“We understand food, wine, and all the upscale lifestyle that comes with it,” says CEO Paul Koder, who worked as a wine consultant in Europe before moving to the United States.
Koder says his company prefers to get involved before construction. It comes up with designs that meet clients’ available space and desired storage capacity. Then, it provides instructions for insulation and wiring, along with the cooling system. Wine Trend Inc. manufactures, ships, and installs the racks, and, if desired, will do millwork on site.
