Fire-proof mnmMOD panels, made of recycled steel and EPS insulation, are 100% wood-free, perform at 40% greater energy efficiency than conventional materials, and contain no dyes, formaldehydes, nor VOC-emitting materials.

Erla Dögg Ingjaldsdóttir and Tryggvi Thorsteinsson started Minarc in 1999. They introduced their mnmMOD system in 2016, and their first Plus Hus ADUs—a $37,000 to $50,000 flat-packed, prefab accessory dwelling unit—was unveiled in 2018.
