Kitson developed the Florida community with a focus on social sustainability, which manifests in a walkable/bikeable design, a town-wide solar energy grid, and a wide range of transportation alternatives.

The town will be a living laboratory for its innovations: driverless electric cars, tele-health systems, a graywater recycling infrastructure, and solar energy storage technology.
