Leading Builders of America has officially endorsed San Francisco–based PCBC as its official annual event in a recently announced partnership. As part of the deal, Leading Builders, a Washington, D.C.–based organization made up of 19 of the nation’s largest public and private builders, will send high-ranking executives from most or all of its members to PCBC’s 2012 show.

“All companies represented is the goal,” says Ken Gear, executive director at Leading Builders of America, on a call with Builder today. “Most of our partners do business in the western part of the country and California in particular, so we thought [PCBC] would be a good spot.”

While details on how Leading Builders members will participate are still being hashed out, Gear says they will be involved with PCBC’s leader-to-leader programs and on panels.

The partnership also involves an undisclosed financial agreement.

So far, the arrangement is only in place for one year, with the possibility of extending the partnership in the future. “It’s kind of a trial run,” Gear says. “But I think both parties are excited and pretty confident that it will be a success.”
