The New Home Company (NYSE: NWHM), Aliso Viejo, Calif., said late Thursday it will open The Residences and Villas at Mountain Shadows Resort in Paradise Valley, Arizona during the weekend of April 22, 2017.

Mountain Shadows is the latest community of resort residences to be built in Paradise Valley at the base of the iconic Camelback Mountain. The community is New Home’s initial offering in the Phoenix market. It opened its Arizona division in early 2016.

New Home is showcasing two distinct architectural designs at Mountain Shadows: The Residences and Villas. The homes feature desert contemporary design interpretations with streamlined styling, dramatic levered roof lines, natural and urban textures, open floor plans and outdoor living spaces that take advantage of the surrounding mountain and desert views.

The Residences, designed by JZMK Partners, is comprised of 14 single-family homes ranging from 3,049 to 3,915 square feet with three to four bedrooms, up to four and one-half baths and two-car garages. The Residences are priced from the low $2 millions.

The Villas, also designed by JZMK Partners, will offer 52 single-story condominiums ranging from 2,501 to 3,615 square feet with three bedrooms, up to three and one-half baths, two-car garages, private elevator for the upper units and large outdoor living courtyards and decks. These homes are priced from the low $1 millions.

Home buyers at both the Residences and Villas will have the opportunity to work with New Home’s on-site Design Studio to personalize their residence and select the finishes and options that meet their needs and desires. All home owners have full access to amenities such as golf, health and wellness facilities, hiking trails and dining at the newly grand opened Mountain Shadows Resort.

“Our community is situated in one of the most ideal locations in all of Arizona, so for this to be our first to open in the region is special,” said CEO Larry Webb of New Home. “Those who visit our models will see that we’ve put the utmost thought and care into the design of these homes to optimize unparalleled mountain views and offer the finest in luxury resort living. It’s an exciting time to be a part of Mountain Shadows and we look forward to welcoming our first residents this summer.”
