CalAtlantic Homes on Friday announced that it has closed on a lot purchase agreement with Mattamy Homes. CalAtlantic now owns and controls 739 new home sites across 9 communities in the Twin Cities area.

“The Minneapolis/St. Paul market is very important to CalAtlantic and this transaction expands our footprint and supports our focus on geographic and product diversity across the market,” said Mike DeVoe, Twin Cities President for CalAtlantic Homes. “In 2016, CalAtlantic was the second most active builder in Twin Cities. All of the lots being purchased are in communities that are fully developed and the terms of the purchase agreement will provide us with an ongoing pipeline for several years.”

CAA did not provide details on specific lot counts and locations, and a call to the company was not immediately returned. However, below is a map of the Mattamy Homes locations in the area.
