Merit Award: Pacific Place

San Francisco

1 MIN READ

By Nigel F. Maynard Located among commercial and warehouse buildings, the two towers of the Pacific Place condominiums strike a confident pose in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Delineated in bold colors to clearly indicate separate building forms, the towers sit at right angles to each other and are grouped around a landscaped courtyard, which houses a swimming pool and spa. Retail shops line Van Ness Avenue with townhomes located on top.

The exteriors feature metal accents and contemporary window forms, while the interiors offer clean spaces with wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops.

Each building has its own contemporary lobby with slate floors. The 154-unit project contains nine floor plans, which include a studio and one- and two-bedroom units.

Prices range from $350,000 to $750,000.
