The Home Lighting Control Alliance (HLCA), a consortium geared toward promoting the benefits of residential lighting controls, has launched an online “Learning Center” (www.homelightingcontrol.org/learning.php) offering a slew of educational materials for those unfamiliar with lighting control products.
Visitors to the site can learn the basics of home lighting design and layering with light, the basics of incorporating lighting controls, and making the leap from single light switches to whole-house lighting control. Informational brochures and fact sheets, a glossary of home lighting control terms, and an e-newsletter subscription are also available.
