Immigrant Woes

A new study by the National Housing Conference found that immigrant working families are nearly 70 percent more likely than native-born Americans to spend more than half of their income on housing. The study also found that immigrant working families are six times more likely to live in crowded conditions. Hispanics comprise almost 60 percent of immigrant working families identified with critical housing needs.
