Stanley Martin Homes, Reston, Va. has named Joel Reed executive vp and general counsel.
In addition to overseeing all legal affairs at Stanley Martin, Reed will be a member of Stanley Martin’s leadership team and help guide Stanley Martin’s national expansion.

Reed spent a decade in various roles with Centex Homes and more recently was the senior vp and chief legal officer at John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods. After the sale of John Wieland Homes and Neighborhoods to Pulte Homes, deed joined Pulte to assist with the integration and to help lead operational improvements and land acquisitions.
