1 MIN READ

This year’s National Green Building Conference and Expo wants attendees to re-evaluate what works in the new economy, refocus on what green means to consumers, and recommit to building and remodeling green. The NAHB’s annual conference offers training sessions, manufacturer presentations, an awards dinner, and a house tour led by the builders who produced the energy-efficient, environmentally conscious homes that you’ll visit. There also will be opportunities to network with fellow builders, remodelers, developers, architects, energy raters, home inspectors, and more.

Conference sessions this year are designed to provide information on the business values of building green. Education tracks include sales and marketing, green certification, indoor air quality, design, energy, and low-impact development. There also will be advanced pre-conference courses for experienced green building professionals on topics such as building science, universal design, project management, and remodeling. Registration is now open for the conference and expo, as well as for additional events and advanced courses.
