The American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) recently launched four online educational courses to accompany the REGREEN Residential Remodeling Guidelines. Supplementing the sustainable home improvement guidelines developed in partnership by USGBC and ASID, these are the first of what will be an expanded series of online courses for interior design professionals, contractors, builders, architects, and others interested in green remodeling.
The first four REGREEN courses are “A Bath Remodel,” “A Kitchen Remodel,” “A Deep Energy Retrofit,” and “A Guide for REGREEN Remodeling Projects.” Each two-hour course provides in-depth instructions, best practices, and guidelines for pursuing energy-efficient, green home renovation projects. They are available on demand through ASID’s online learning center for $39.99 each for ASID and USGBC members or $59.99 for non-members.
