After trying to sell off the FAST portion of it business, Dallas-based Hyphen-Solutions has chosen instead to operate FAST as a separate business unit. The FAST unit is based in Seattle and has 30 employees. FAST is a full enterprise, resource, and planning application for the building industry. Web-based customer relationship management software for FAST will be released in spring 2004, and a new version of FAST, 7.3, will be available next fall.
