An upcoming master-planned community application from Benchmark Pacific could add hundreds of homes, as well as apartments and businesses, to an unincorporated 972-acre site in Murrieta, Calif. if approved.

The master-planned community proposal calls for 497 single-family homes on approximately 198 acres, 60 ‘executive’ single family-homes on approximately 50 acres, and approximately 13 acres of mixed use development, which could include 193 apartments or condos, retail, office, and other uses.

The project’s draft Environmental Impact Report is available for public review and comment through June 22, 2020 on the City of Murrieta website.
