Cheap to construct, fast going up, and environmentally friendly, shipping-container developments are taking hold in London, where developers are using the off-beat building material to create modular multifamily projects.
One such project, Container City by London-based developer Urban Space Management, is a multi-phase project, whose first phase included a 22-unit building of artist lofts and workspaces that went up in only eight days.
