M/I Homes is planning to build between 350 and 400 homes on a 123-acre site in Reynoldsburg, Ohio, close to Columbus. According to development director Andrew Bowsher, the homes will range from 1,600 to 2,500 square feet in size, with prices expected to range from $290,000 to $400,000.

The Reynoldsburg, Ohio City Council has unanimously approved a motion to start city services to the 123-acre property once it is annexed from Truro Township. There are no dates when this annexation is expected. The city expects a formal development plan by summer.

Council recessed for April and city hall has closed to the public in an effort to slow the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Despite staffers working remotely since last month, Bowsher said the city’s development department “keeps plugging away.”

“Once we make it through this we’ll continue moving forward as a community and a city,” he said. “Certainly, things have slowed down, but I feel confident we’ll rebound quickly.”
