Caruso Homes, Inc., Crofton, Maryland, said late Thursday that it has acquired 44 home sites in Calvert County, expanding the home builder’s presence in the Washington D.C. and Baltimore, MD. metropolitan areas.
Purchased from Kaine Homes, the properties are located in three single-family communities: North Calvert Woods, Huntingtown Acres and College Station.
North Calvert Woods offers five luxury home plans set on ½ acre to 2 acre wooded home sites and a community recreation area which includes a tot lot, basketball court and open play field. Nine home sites are available for immediate sale, with 30 additional lots slated to open in a later section. The Regional Sales Center at North Calvert Woods, located at 6994 Napa Drive, Chesapeake Beach, MD 20732, will service all three communities and is now open five days a week (closed on Thursdays and Fridays). Caruso Homes is building a new sales center and fully-furnished model home that is expected to open in the fall.
Huntingtown Acres located off Ponds Wood Road in Huntingtown, MD is a quiet wooded enclave of five single-family estate home sites ranging in size from three to six acres. Five home plans with flexible, open designs will be available, offering luxury and privacy with close proximity to conveniences in Chesapeake Beach or Prince Frederick.
College Station in Prince Frederick is an established community of 150 single family homes. Caruso Homes will build spec homes on the last two available home sites.
