Private Equity Steps Up as Role Player in Public Builder Land Deals

Triangle Business Journal staffer Amanda Jones Hoyle reports that a land banking firm affiliated with The Blackstone Group has bought 73 acres of land in Holly Springs on behalf of Beazer Homes. Hoyle notes that it’s the second such land acquisition in which a public home builder taps a private equity partner to better time its land investment resources.
