Abbaka’s Hy-Ex professional exterior ventilator is designed not only to move the noise of its 1,000- to 1,400-cfm blower motor from inside the kitchen range hood to outside the house, but also to achieve an attractive architectural design that won’t mar the exterior appearance of the home.

The ventilator’s exterior housing features a radius profile that stands 9 inches tall at its peak and curves downward to 7 inches tall. The housing comes in a standard weather-resistant Galvalume and can be speced in copper or bronze in metallic or matte finishes, as well as an array of custom powder-coated epoxy enamels.

According to the manufacturer, its fan blade design provides high air movement that is 125 percent more efficient than other professional-level remote ventilators while using a third of the power.
